Bike Estes Day is split into 2 activities on June 27 2018.
In the Morning the Estes Park Cycling Coalition is hosting Estes Park’s sixth annual Bike to Work Day,Â
Cyclists will be offered a free breakfast, coffee, raffle prizes, informational booths and bike check-ups from 6:00 – 9:00 a.m. at the Estes Park Visitor Center, 500 Big Thompson Avenue.
Estes Park joins communities across the state to encourage residents to try bicycle commuting as a healthy and safe alternative to driving, and activities will take place rain or shine.
In the evening we will have our bicycle parade
At 5:30pm, we will meet again at the Visitors Center to decorate bikes for the parade, we will provide some decorations. Participants are strongly encouraged to wear costumes. The Estes PD will block traffic for us as we ride through town (1 mile) to Performance Park where we will have kids games, food truck, beer (for adults obviously) and a band playing music.
